Overheard in the Exam Room
“No Trouble Applying the Meds”
A dog came back with a cloudy cornea after three days of eye medication and barely any improvement.
“Any trouble applying it?”
“Nope!” She showed me: ointment on her finger, rubbed on the eyelids. Twice a day. The cornea had not been invited.
She was doing exactly what she believed she had been told. That is on all of us to explain better.
